Kitchen Cabinetry Upgrades

The kitchen is truly the heart of the home… and great cabinetry is its hallmark. New and enticing designs allow you to transform your cabinets with custom-built storage solutions and sleek organizers that ensure your space is much more efficient as well as fabulous.

If you’re looking to upgrade your kitchen cabinetry and make it more lovable and up-to-date for fall, these ideas will help inspire your makeover.

Slim pull out pantry

Not everyone is blessed with space for a walk-in pantry, hence a slender pull-out larder can truly be a life-changing additional feature to your cabinetry upgrade. It allows you to clear your countertops of clutter and have everything stored in a dedicated spot.

Designed vertically, a pull-out larder can be tucked into the tightest spaces — either at the end of the cabinet or the compact space between two different cabinets. Store just about anything from dried and canned goods to cooking ingredients and bottle sauces — really anything that you want to pull out easily for quick access.

Pull out shelves

Let’s be honest, static shelves can be quite annoying especially if you can’t reach the back with ease. For this reason, installing shelving that glides out is perhaps one of the holy grails of brilliant kitchen cabinetry.

Pull-out shelves are adaptable to virtually any size cabinet — and because they have a sliding mechanism that allows the whole unit to move out and all the way towards you, it becomes easy to organize your pots, pans, and other kitchen essentials without breaking your back. A perfect blend of simplicity and functionality.

Super susan

The super susan is essentially a great alternative to hard-to-reach base cabinet shelving. Best suited for problematic corner cabinets, these pivoting trays are crafted from wood and rotate outward from the cabinet to allow for easy accessible storage.

Unlike the lazy susan, super susans eliminate the need for a central pole to hold the shelving in place. Instead, they are mounted to a fixed shelf, sturdy enough to store larger items like pots,

pans and baking canisters while maintaining the practical spinning motion. What’s more, each shelf spins independently, making it easier to lift items out.

Deep drawer insets

In addition to transforming your kitchen cabinets, drawer inserts are super handy and will have everything neat and structured in a systematic way. Customizable organizers are quick to assemble and allow you to move utensils, spice containers, canisters and more from high-up cabinets and countertops to deep drawers.

Pull out garbage drawer

If you want to store your garbage behind closed doors and not in the open, consider a custom pull-out designed for that purpose. Garbage and recycling bins can be concealed in the lower kitchen cabinet — and can be configured in two ways…

There’s a single bin holder and a double bin casement that stores two garbage cans (side by side, or one in front of the other) in one cabinet. Both designs perform an exceptional job of keeping odors contained and make trash day a whole lot easier.

Cabinet Lighting

Cabinet Lighting

A missing element in most kitchens is cabinet lighting, which, honestly is kind of key in any design scheme. Somehow a kitchen space feels complete when the ambient and task lighting is just so.

Retrofit interior lights in glass-frosted cabinets to showcase your dinnerware, glassware or cookbook collection. Task lights beneath upper wall cabinets are equally important and will definitely be a boon during meal preparations.
