THE TIMELINE OF YOUR CUSTOM CABINETRY PROJECT WITH HERONWOOD
At Heronwood, creating your dream space is a collaborative and personalized experience. Here’s an overview of what you can expect:
From the moment you contact us, we’ll schedule a site measure within about a week. During this visit, Jay or Aaron, our Project Managers, will take precise measurements and discuss your vision. If you’re building a new home, simply send us your building plans or interior design drawings, and we’ll get started on your custom design. Within two weeks, we’ll provide detailed renderings and drawings to bring your ideas to life. At this stage, you’ll work closely with our talented design team to finalize materials, colours, and layout – a process that can take a few weeks, depending on the complexity of your project.
Once everything is approved and the quote is signed, production begins. Crafting your custom cabinetry typically takes 8–10 weeks. Throughout this period, we maintain open communication to keep you updated.
Installation follows, with kitchens taking about five days and full-house projects requiring up to three weeks. After cabinetry is installed, your countertops can be templated, ensuring precise measurements. The fabrication and installation process for countertops adds an additional two-three weeks.
From start to finish, a full-scale custom cabinetry project ideally takes 12–14 weeks, allowing time for design decisions and any unexpected adjustments. With our experienced design team guiding you every step of the way, we ensure your cabinetry is not only functional but also a stunning centerpiece for your home.

“After years of research at home shows, kitchen magazines and information from HGTV, my husband and I decided to renovate our early 1970s kitchen. A relative recommended Jason Fifield of Heronwood Custom Cabinetry to us. We made the call and when we met with Jason he listened to our needs and wants.
